Software updates now delivered in Metro's email newsletter

The latest updates to Metro's Visual Alert software are published in alternate months in our email newsletter, UPDATE. Any critical updates are delivered immediately, as are updates requested by a client to address an emergency situation. If you are not receiving UPDATE, email news@metroalert.com.

Each edition of UPDATE includes a short summary of modifications or features added to the software as well as a link to download the update and the accompanying release notes.

Release numbers for the software are found in the upper left-hand corner of the application. The format is three numbers separated by dots. The first number is the version of Visual Alert. That is followed by the update number or release number. The final number is the build. Example: Visual Alert 2.1.0 is version 2, release 1, and build 0.

Join a user group or attend one of two annual user conferences

Several customer-established user groups are available. Metro Technology's relationships with user groups are coordinated through the User Group Liaison. For more information and to join a user group, please contact Metro Technology.

Two user conferences are held each spring, one in Eastern Pennsylvania and one in Western Pennsylvania. Details appear elsewhere on this page and notices are emailed to all current Metro customers. For more information, please contact Metro Technology.
